Health in the Hood Food Pantry

Health in the Hood is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating food access and promoting health equity in underserved Miami communities. Founded in 2013, the organization transforms vacant land into urban gardens and distributes fresh produce while offering nutrition education and wellness programming in food desert neighborhoods. Through their Opa-Locka location, they serve children, families, and seniors with fresh food, nutrition education, and community wellness initiatives designed to build long-term health and self-sufficiency.
