Sarah’s Kitchen – First Congregational Church

About

Sarah's Kitchen is an interfaith nonprofit soup kitchen founded in 2009 in response to St. Lucie County's economic hardship, with a mission to provide hot nutritious meals to individuals and families struggling financially. Operating as one of five feeding sites throughout St. Lucie County in partnership with First Congregational Church in Port St. Lucie, the organization is staffed entirely by volunteers and is guided by an advisory board representing twenty-nine congregations, serving over 1,000 hot meals weekly to those in need including the working poor, seniors, and homeless individuals.
