Second Harvest Food Bank of The Big Bend

Second Harvest Food Bank of the Big Bend is a nonprofit organization established in 1982 that fights hunger throughout Florida's Big Bend region by distributing nutritious food to individuals and families in need. As the region's primary charitable food source, the organization operates a food bank and works with over 135 partner agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, schools, and community centers across 16 counties. Through its comprehensive programs and community partnerships, Second Harvest addresses food insecurity for children, seniors, and working families while raising awareness about hunger in the region.
