Campus Kitchen, UGA

Campus Kitchen at UGA is a student-powered hunger relief program operated through the University of Georgia's Office of Service-Learning that recovers unused food from local businesses and farms to redistribute as meals and groceries to food-insecure seniors and human service agencies throughout Athens. Founded in 2011 and the first Campus Kitchen program in Georgia, the organization combines food waste reduction with community engagement to address hunger and isolation among vulnerable populations in the Athens area.
