About
RIC-Rack is a nonprofit thrift store and food bank founded in 1992 in downtown Dawsonville, Georgia. The organization operates as a 501(c)(3) public charity that combines retail operations selling donated clothing, shoes, furniture, and appliances with a food pantry, using thrift store profits to support food assistance for Dawson County residents. RIC-Rack currently serves 200–300 families monthly and was established through the efforts of community leaders Jean Greenway and Helen Taylor alongside local churches and the Dawson County Woman's Club.
