Savannah Feed The Hungry Inc. – Garden City

Savannah Feed The Hungry Inc. is a nonprofit food pantry that distributes groceries and hot meals to working families throughout the region. Founded in 2009 during the recession, the organization has served over 1.5 million meals across 14 cities in Georgia and South Carolina, and has become known for its large-scale holiday celebrations that serve over 50,000 people annually. In partnership with St. Joseph Candler, the organization opened the Empowerment Center in 2019, a comprehensive resource center that has helped hundreds of families transition from renting to homeownership.
