Feeding The Valley

Feeding the Valley is a nonprofit food bank serving 17 counties in Georgia and one county in Alabama, distributing over 500,000 pounds of food monthly to address food insecurity. Located in Midland, the organization operates as a regional distribution center that partners with retail donors, local businesses, civic groups, schools, and churches to gather and distribute food and hygiene products. The organization also runs community programs including volunteer opportunities, Kids Cafes, and a Mobile Pantry service to underserved rural areas, with recent facility expansions in 2024 doubling dry storage capacity and increasing cold storage to meet growing community needs.
