The Community Assistance Center (CAC) Client-Choice Mini-Market Food Pantry serves individuals and families in need who reside in Sandy Springs or Dunwoody through a unique client-choice model that operates like a grocery store, allowing clients to select their own fresh produce, meats, dairy products, and shelf-stable items. As a nonprofit organization, CAC has operated since 1987 with a mission to prevent hunger and homelessness in the community, serving approximately 500 families monthly and providing each household with a weekly food allotment proportionate to family size.
