Mutual Ground

Founded in 1975, Mutual Ground is a nonprofit organization serving Aurora, Illinois and Southern Kane and Kendall Counties through comprehensive support for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, and substance use. The organization provides emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis hotlines, counseling, advocacy services, prevention education, and outpatient substance use treatment. Located at 418 Oak Avenue in Aurora, Mutual Ground serves approximately 1,500 victims annually and reaches nearly 1,750 classrooms with prevention education programs.
