Eastview Christian Church – Community Center

Eastview Christian Church’s Community Center in Bloomington was established in 2023 after the church purchased the former YMCA building in 2022, transforming it into a community hub offering afterschool services, mentoring, sports, job skills training, and English language learning programs for underserved areas. The church, founded in 1955 and now based in Normal, has deep historical ties to the building, having originally held worship services at the same YMCA location. As of 2026, Eastview plans to donate the community center to Home Sweet Home Ministries to expand services supporting the homeless population in downtown Bloomington.
