Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church

Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church is a historic Baptist congregation in Bloomington, Illinois, founded in October 1865 as South Hill Baptist Church and renamed Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Located at 801 W. Market Street, the church has served as an important spiritual and community leader in the local African-American community for over 150 years. Led by Reverend Dr. Timothy Mark Harris, Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church provides contemporary worship and spiritual guidance while maintaining its commitment to grace, biblical teaching, and welcoming community members.
