Project Oz

Project Oz is a nonprofit organization located at 1105 W Front Street in Bloomington, Illinois, dedicated to serving youth and young people ages 10 to 23 who face housing insecurity and family instability. The organization provides crisis intervention, placement services, outreach programs, embedded school counselors, and mentorship through its HYPE Youth Groups program, operating for over 50 years as the only social service organization in McLean County focused entirely on youth housing assistance. Project Oz recently expanded with a new Youth Education and Support Center on Bloomington’s west side, offering technology access, food education, laundry services, and other comprehensive support to help young people build safer, more stable lives.
