Food Distribution Center – Empower Boone Food Pantry

Empower Boone Food Pantry, located at 200 South 5th Street in Capron, Illinois, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving Boone County residents since opening its doors in February 2005. The organization provides free curbside food distribution, a clothing closet, a pet food pantry, and serves as a warming and cooling center, while also connecting neighbors with resources for rent assistance, utilities, job placement, and health services. Open to Boone County residents on Tuesdays from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Empower Boone operates with a mission to help those facing hardship until they achieve self-sufficiency.
