Jubilee Café

Jubilee Café is a free, weekly community dinner program operated by the Community United Church of Christ at 805 S. 6th Street in Champaign that serves freshly cooked meals to college students and local residents experiencing food insecurity every Monday from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Founded in October 2017 by University of Illinois professor Johnell Bentz and volunteers from the church, the organization creates a welcoming, stigma-free environment where guests are served at their tables and can enjoy nutritious home-cooked meals alongside pantry staples and fresh vegetables.
