Restoration Urban Ministries

Restoration Urban Ministries is a nonprofit organization located at 1213 Parkland Court in Champaign, Illinois, that has served the community since 1993. The organization provides transitional housing, food and clothing pantries, counseling, classes, and Christ-centered ministry to needy families and individuals working toward independent living. Founded by Reverend Ervin T. Williams, RUM has grown from serving food from the back of a truck to operating programs across multiple facilities, including a 10,000 square-foot warehouse acquired in 2004, and welcomes individuals of all backgrounds seeking support for homelessness, drug addiction, and mental health challenges.
