Casa Catalina Food Pantry

Casa Catalina Food Pantry, operated by Catholic Charities, is located at 4537 S Ashland Ave in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood and has been serving the community for over 30 years. The nonprofit food pantry provides free groceries, fresh produce, and hot meals to families experiencing food insecurity, assisting between 300 and 350 families weekly regardless of background or belief. Casa Catalina’s mission centers on treating all visitors with respect and dignity while partnering with the Greater Chicago Food Depository to distribute thousands of pounds of food monthly to neighborhood residents.
