Chicago Lights Elam Davies Social Service Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at 126 E. Chestnut Street that has served the Chicago community since 1983, rooted in the vision of former Fourth Presbyterian Church pastor Dr. Elam Davies. The center meets basic human needs including food assistance, case management, clothing, housing referrals, and job-readiness support, working with partner agencies to help individuals achieve greater stability and self-sufficiency. Their services include a consumer choice food pantry, Sunday Night Supper, and Bag Lunch Program, along with street outreach and intensive case management for adults experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, and poverty in the Near North neighborhood.
