Family Empowerment Center

Family Empowerment Centers is a faith-based nonprofit established in 2008 and located in the Rogers Park neighborhood on Chicago’s North Side at 1533 W Devon Avenue. The organization empowers disadvantaged urban families through youth development programs, family retreats, day camps, outreach services, and educational initiatives including English language instruction and food assistance. Family Empowerment Centers serves as a community anchor focused on creating pathways of opportunity for under-resourced families and raising up the next generation of leaders in inner-city Chicago.
