The Greater Chicago Food Depository is Chicago’s food bank, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1979, serving Cook County through a network of approximately 700 pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and community programs. Located at 4100 W Ann Lurie Place in Chicago, the organization distributes millions of pounds of food annually and serves hundreds of thousands of adults and children, while working to address the root causes of hunger through job training, advocacy and innovative solutions.
