Howard & Evanston Community Center

Howard & Evanston Community Center is a nonprofit organization serving the Greater Rogers Park area and Evanston, providing comprehensive programs including early childhood and tech learning, adult education, employment assistance, food assistance, and domestic violence support. Founded in 1967 as a food pantry and formerly known as the Howard Area Community Center, the organization joined Metropolitan Family Services in July 2023. Located at 7648 N Paulina Street in Chicago, HECC has been a cornerstone of the community for over five decades, empowering individuals of all ages from birth to senior years.
