IMAN Food and Wellness Center

The IMAN Food and Wellness Center, located at 1216 W. 63rd St. in Chicago’s West Englewood neighborhood, is a nonprofit food distribution and wellness hub operated by the Inner-City Muslim Action Network (IMAN). Founded in 2021 in partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, the center offers “client choice” food distribution three days per week, health education, dietitian services, and connections to healthcare and behavioral health resources. IMAN, which has worked in the community for more than 20 years to address health disparities and poverty, expanded its mission through this center to provide dignified food access while promoting nutrition and addressing systemic barriers to wellness.
