Irving Park Community Food Pantry

Irving Park Community Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing food and community resources to residents of Chicago’s Northwest Side, primarily serving ZIP codes 60618 and 60641. Established in 1984, the pantry grew from efforts in the early 1970s when a member of Irving Park United Methodist Church began personally delivering groceries to those in need, and today operates as an interdenominational coalition of churches, civic groups, and volunteers serving hundreds of households monthly. Located at 4256 North Ridgeway Avenue, the pantry provides a three- to five-day food supply from all food groups, along with additional services including pet food, SNAP benefits assistance, and seasonal programs such as school supplies.
