Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry

Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry is a nonprofit community food pantry located at 11030 S. Longwood Drive in the Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago that provides supplemental groceries to individuals and families in need. Founded in 1981 by two women from Maple Park United Methodist Church who initially collected food in a barrel to feed 40 families, the pantry has grown significantly to serve thousands of individuals and families regularly, operating in partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The pantry offers canned fruits, vegetables, protein, milk, juice, cereal, peanut butter, grains, pasta, and other staple foods to residents across Chicago’s South Side and beyond.
