Ravenswood Community Services

Ravenswood Community Services (RCS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2001 that operates a food pantry and community kitchen serving the Uptown and Ravenswood neighborhoods on Chicago’s north side. Located at 4550 N. Hermitage Ave., RCS provides groceries and hot meals to neighbors experiencing food insecurity every Tuesday from 5:30-7:30pm, with a dining hall also available for those seeking a place to eat. Beyond food assistance, the organization hosts community events like the annual Ravenswood Run, a neighborhood 5K that attracts approximately 3,000 runners each year.
