Saint Pius V Parish Pantry – Food Distribution Center serves the Chicago community through comprehensive food assistance programs operating for over 20-30 years. Located at 1919 S. Ashland Ave. in Chicago’s 60608 neighborhood, the parish operates a food pantry distributing food to approximately 65 families weekly on Tuesdays, along with a soup kitchen serving 500 hot meals weekly on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. In partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository and Catholic Charities, Saint Pius V assists people in need through emergency food aid, clothing and household item distribution, and connects residents to housing and health resources.
