Saint Sabina Parish – Food Distribution Center

The St. Sabina Social Service Center, located at 1120 W. 79th St. in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood, is a food pantry operated by St. Sabina Parish that provides fresh food, clothing, case management, and counseling services to low-income families, seniors, disabled veterans, and other community members throughout Cook County and Lake County. Reopened in October 2024 after Catholic Charities closed the location due to rising costs, the center has served over 40,000 individuals and partners with the Greater Chicago Food Depository and local stores to provide groceries on a shopping-style basis five days a week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
