The Salvation Army Templo-Laramie Corps Community Center

The Salvation Army Templo-Laramie Corps Community Center, located at 2337 S. Laramie Avenue in Cicero, Illinois, serves surrounding communities by providing social services as an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. The center assists area residents with a wide range of basic needs programs, including emergency assistance, food pantries, shelter services, and programs addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of adults and families in crisis. Led by Majors Heriberto Jara and Valeska Redon, this nonprofit organization is part of The Salvation Army’s North and Central Illinois Division and operates with a mission to serve those most in need while doing the most good in the community.
