Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois-Dewitt County Outreach Office

The Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois (CAPCIL) Dewitt County Outreach Office in Clinton is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering low-income and vulnerable populations across six counties including DeWitt, Fulton, Logan, Mason, Menard, and Piatt. Founded in 1966, CAPCIL administers federal, state, and local programs including Head Start early childhood education, utility assistance, weatherization, emergency rental assistance, food pantries, senior meals and transportation, financial literacy, and job training services. The Clinton outreach office is one of five locations serving the central Illinois region, helping CAPCIL reach over 24,000 individuals annually with poverty-fighting initiatives and community support services.
