New Day Community Church

New Day Community Church is located at 4191 Greenswitch Road in Decatur, Illinois, and serves the greater Macon County area. Established in September 2000 by Pastor Bruce Jacobs, the church is dedicated to helping others find a place to “BEGIN their faith journey, a place where they feel like they BELONG and a place where they can BECOME what God has created them to be.” The church operates the SHED ministry, a volunteer-based program that distributes household items to families in need throughout Central Illinois, having distributed over 1,500 beds in 2008 alone.
