Hope Haven of Dekalb County, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at 1145 Rushmore Drive in DeKalb, Illinois, dedicated to providing shelter, food, and supportive services to homeless individuals and families in DeKalb County. Founded in October 1990, the organization evolved from PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter), a church-based initiative that began in 1986, and now operates comprehensive programs including emergency shelter, transitional housing, case management, life skills training, and job readiness programs. With 40 employees and 700 volunteers, Hope Haven serves the community through its Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing Program, and Permanent Housing initiatives while advocating for the rights of homeless individuals.
