ICCD – Islamic Community Center of Des Plaines

The Islamic Community Center of Des Plaines (ICCD), located at 480 Potter Road in Des Plaines, Illinois, was established in 1989 to serve Muslim worshipers in the Des Plaines area and surrounding suburbs. As a nonprofit religious organization, ICCD functions as a mosque and community center providing daily prayer services, Islamic education programs, youth initiatives, funeral services, notarization, and marriage ceremonies, while also hosting community events that build interfaith understanding with neighbors of all backgrounds. The center has grown from its initial home in a single-family residence to become the only mosque in the Des Plaines area, serving over 5,000 members and offering weekend school programs for children.
