Wood River Township Highway Department

The Wood River Township Highway Department is a municipal agency located at 49 S. 9th Street in East Alton, Illinois, serving the residents of Wood River, East Alton, Cottage Hills, Roxana, and portions of Bethalto and Hartford. The department handles road maintenance and infrastructure for the township and operates the 8th Street Dump facility located at 1010 8th Street in Cottage Hills for residential waste disposal.
