Catholic Urban Programs – Food Distribution Center

Catholic Urban Programs – Food Distribution Center operates HUB Foods, a food pantry serving individuals and families in East St. Louis through a client-choice model that opened in July 2020, where clients select their own groceries from a grocery store-like environment. The nonprofit organization, guided by Catholic Social teaching, provides crisis intervention assistance including emergency food, utility bill help, and housing support to vulnerable populations throughout the Belleville Diocese, with the food distribution center located at 7 Vieux Carre Drive, East St. Louis, and currently serving over 100 households monthly.
