East Side Heart & Home Family Center

East Side Heart & Home Family Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1993 in East St. Louis, Illinois, dedicated to alleviating poverty and creating social change through community engagement. Operating from 700 Summit Avenue, the organization runs two primary programs: a Family Program offering alternative education, senior services, and community-building activities, and a Housing Program that constructs affordable homes and provides homeownership education to low-income families. Since its inception, the Center has completed over 20 homes in the Resurrection Park neighborhood and worked extensively to revitalize the community through partnerships with volunteers and residents of diverse backgrounds.
