Elgin Evangelical Free Church

Elgin Evangelical Free Church is a faith community located at 1900 Big Timber Road in Elgin, IL that has served the area for over 130 years, having been founded in 1894 as an independent Sunday School and Bible Church. The congregation is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America and offers traditional hymns, contemporary and praise worship music, along with programs including children’s ministry, youth groups, adult education, missions, and community service. The church moved to its current Big Timber Road location in 1985 to accommodate its growing congregation and continues its mission of doing life in Christ together while reaching the community with the gospel.
