Epworth United Methodist Church

Epworth United Methodist Church, located at 37W040 Highland Ave in Elgin, IL, originated from believers who first met on April 15, 1894, making it over 125 years old. The church offers traditional Methodist worship services with contemporary and hymnal music styles, along with community-focused programs including children’s ministries, youth groups, community service, and missions. In 2020, Epworth UMC merged with Wesley UMC to form Journey of Hope UMC, combining their congregations and local mission work while preserving their shared heritage.
