Habitat for Humanity ReStore Elgin

Habitat for Humanity ReStore Elgin is a nonprofit home improvement store located at 800 N State St in Elgin, IL that accepts donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances, and building materials, selling them to the public at greatly reduced prices. Established in 2006, the 40,000 square foot retail facility generates funds that support the home building program of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley, a nonprofit housing organization incorporated in 1990 that partners with families and individuals to build or improve affordable housing. Through the efforts of volunteers and community donations, ReStore reduces landfill waste while providing shoppers with affordable home improvement goods and helping families achieve homeownership and independence.
