Connections for the Homeless is a nonprofit organization founded in 1984 that serves as a safety net for individuals and families in Evanston and northern Cook County. Based at 2121 Dewey Avenue in Evanston, the organization provides comprehensive services including financial assistance to prevent homelessness, emergency shelter, transitional housing, and supportive services such as case management, health and wellness programs, food, and clothing. Connections for the Homeless works to end homelessness through prevention, rehousing, and employment services, serving 31 communities across north suburban Cook County.
