Family Focus-Our Place

Family Focus-Our Place is a nonprofit organization serving Evanston, Illinois that provides community-based family support programs including early childhood home visiting, after-school services, youth mentoring, and parenting education. Founded in 1976 by Bernice Weissbourd as an original drop-in center for parents of young children, the organization has grown to operate seven service centers throughout the Chicago metropolitan area while maintaining its flagship location in Evanston. The center also manages community initiatives such as the Foster Street Urban Agriculture Program and operates a food pantry for local residents in need.
