First United Methodist Church

First United Methodist Church of Evanston, located at 516 Church Street, was founded in 1854 and is the first Methodist church established in Evanston. The congregation offers Sunday worship services at 10:30 a.m. and features vibrant musical programs including four choirs and a jazz ensemble, while maintaining a commitment to community service, social justice, and inclusive ministries as a member of the Reconciling Ministries Network.
