Free Pantry Fridge

Evanston Community Fridges is a mutual aid initiative that began in early March 2021 to address food insecurity in the Evanston community. Operating 24/7 at multiple locations including 620 Madison Street, the organization provides free groceries and fresh produce on a “take what you need, leave what you can” basis, with no judgment or surveillance. The fridges are stocked by community volunteers and remain dedicated to affirming community care, dignity, and abundance for all residents facing hunger.
