Infant Welfare Society

The Infant Welfare Society of Evanston, established in 1913, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality child care, early education, and family support services for infants and toddlers in Evanston, Illinois. Located at 2200 Main Street, IWSE operates two early childhood centers—Baby Toddler Nursery and Teen Baby Nursery—along with a Family Support Program offering home visiting services. The organization serves families living at risk and provides specialized care for children of teenage parents, with a mission to support families’ efforts to be self-sufficient and effective parents.
