Wabash Area Development, Inc. (WADI)

Wabash Area Development, Inc. (WADI) is a nonprofit Community Action Agency headquartered in Fairfield, Illinois, serving Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, Wabash, Wayne, and White Counties. Founded in 1965 as the Wabash Area Economic Opportunity Association, WADI provides comprehensive services to low-income individuals and families, including Head Start/Early Head Start programs, energy assistance, emergency transitional housing, homeless prevention, workforce training, and community service grants.
