The Unity in Community Foundation

The Unity in Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Franklin Park, Illinois, serving residents of Leyden Township including Elmwood Park, Franklin Park, Northlake, River Grove, Rosemont, Schiller Park, and Unincorporated Leyden Township. Founded in 2011, the organization began by raising funds for local food pantries and later established a scholarship program inspired by community member Lucia Ramirez, with the mission of “Putting UNITY back in CommUNITY” through various community support programs and charitable initiatives.
