Freeport Area Church Cooperative – Food Distribution Center

Freeport Area Church Cooperative is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing emergency food, shelter, and clothing to those in need in northwest Illinois. Located at 890 W. Galena Avenue in Freeport, the Food Distribution Center serves residents across Stephenson, Ogle, Jo Daviess, and Carroll counties, assisting an average of more than 40 clients per week. The organization, formed as a cooperative of area churches, recently expanded to its current location in 2024 to better serve the community and increase accessibility for those experiencing food insecurity.
