United Churches of Galena Food Pantry

The United Churches of Galena Food Pantry is a nonprofit ministry of the United Churches of Galena, a coalition of several denominations in Galena, Illinois, established to consolidate community food assistance efforts. Founded in 2001, the pantry provides free food to residents of Jo Daviess County who meet income requirements and serves as an outreach ministry guided by faith principles. Operating from its location on Summit Street, the pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers and relies on donations from local businesses, organizations, and community members to provide food security to families experiencing food insecurity.
