Nellie Prather Foundation

The Nellie Prather Foundation is a nonprofit organization located at 332 South Dorchester Avenue in Glenwood, Illinois, dedicated to empowering young women ages 9-19 through mentoring programs, educational workshops, scholarships, and experiential learning opportunities. Founded to serve inner-city female youth in need, the Foundation provides counseling, career guidance, cultural experiences, and college tours to help girls achieve their academic and professional goals. As a woman-owned and minority-owned business, the Foundation partners with Cook County agencies and local schools to expand its impact on youth development and community support.
