Highland Area Christian Services

Highland Area Christian Service Ministry (HACSM) is a nonprofit organization located at 900 Chestnut Street in Highland, Illinois, that began nearly 30 years ago as a food pantry in a local church and has grown into a comprehensive social services agency. The organization provides a food pantry, utility and housing assistance, rent assistance, and LIHEAP support to low-income families, seniors, disabled veterans, and other residents in need throughout the Highland School District and surrounding communities including Marine and St. Jacob. HACSM was formed by the Highland Ministerial Alliance to address the benevolent needs of the community and serves an average of over 460 unduplicated individuals monthly with support from the United Way of Greater St. Louis and various community foundations.
