Micro Pantry

Micro Pantries is a nonprofit organization located at 313 S Larkin Ave in Joliet, Illinois that operates small food assistance boxes, known as “blessing boxes,” designed to address food insecurity in underserved communities. The organization uses the motto “Take what you need, leave what you can” and stocks its pantries with non-perishable foods, hygiene items, and household necessities to provide anonymous assistance to residents facing food insecurity. Multiple micro pantries operate throughout Will County and the surrounding region, with Micro Pantries actively working to serve areas lacking grocery store access.
