Will County Center for Community Concerns

Will County Center for Community Concerns is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1987 that serves as the local Community Action Agency for Will County. Located at 2455 Glenwood Avenue in Joliet, the organization assists low and moderate-income individuals through programs including the Community Service Block Grant, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program, HUD-certified housing counseling, and family case management services designed to promote self-sufficiency. As one of 36 Community Action Agencies statewide and a member of the national Community Action Partnership, they operate under the motto “Helping People / Changing Lives” and conduct outreach throughout Will County to ensure community access to their services.
